We hope you have an extremely productive day, so we are going to get right to it and get you caught up on the past 5 articles of the past week that you need to know about.  California’s Bureau of Cannabis Control, the California Department of Public Health, and the California Department of Food and Agriculture proposed their emergency rules revisions and the public has until today to give feedback. A bill having a slightly tougher time, AB3157, would have lowered the state excise tax to 11% and suspended cultivation taxes for 3 years in the hopes to stem complaints from growers, retailers, and consumers. While it failed this time around, Tom Lackey, a Republican from Los Angeles who authored the measure, hopes it will still have a chance to be revived this year.
